Lecce Cathedral Bell Tower
Latest update: 13 October 2022
The Lecce Cathedral Bell Tower was built in 1682 and rises to a height of 72 metres. The campanile overlooks the beautiful Piazza del Duomo in the city of Lecce in Puglia which is noted for its own unique style of Baroque architecture from the 17th century.
Five gradually-narrowing sections of the tower eventually lead to an ornate cupola decorated with colourful majolica tiles. |
