The best beaches of Puglia are to be found for the most part in the region's two large coastal areas. For example, the list of Salento beaches numbers 28 with some extraordinary places to swim and enjoy wonderful natural scenery. Those 28 don't even include the dozens of other beaches in the main seaside towns of Puglia or the large collection of beach resorts just outside the main towns.
Puglia's Gargano beaches are the dozen or so that lie around the fringes of the Gargano National Park in the Foggia Province. Aside from the main resorts there such as Vieste and Rodi Garganico, there are some amazing beaches including the Baia delle Zagare. |
