Castello dei Badiali San Nicola
Latest update: 31 October 2022
The Castello dei Badiali is a thirteenth century fortress on the tiny island of San Nicola, one of the Tremiti Islands in the southern region of Puglia. It's also known as the Castello Angioino after the Angevin dynasty that originally built it.
The castle is the dominant sight on San Nicola and serves as one of the best vantage points from which to observe the island group. |
